First Issue 2015: Lotus Esprit S1

Fans of iconic British sports cars and James Bond will love the new casting from the Hot Wheels 2015 line-up.  The Lotus Esprit S1 was featured in the 1977 Bond movie, the Spy Who Loved Me.

White metal body on plastic white base, this model has nice proportions.

Exquisite detailing on the rear fascia, taillights including a detailed license plate PPW 306R.

The side of the car facing the blistercard ended up rubbing off some of the black stripe on this otherwise excellent vehicle.

I wish Mattel had more detailing on the nose of the Lotus Esprit.  It looks a tad plain.
