Spotlight: Vintage Series Whip Creamer

As a kid I remember blowing into the back of the Whip Creamer so that I could make the turbine spin.  Those were the good ol days.  I recently acquired this 1994 Hot Wheels Vintage series Whip Creamer. It's called aqua but it looks more turquoise to me.  I also have the dark red one.  Now if I can only find the light blue and light green one from this series, my set will be complete.

I'm sure that my fascination with the Hot Wheels Silhouette was somehow formed after playing with so many nondescript matchbox and dinky cars during my youth.  This car was like nothing I'd ever seen with it's futuristic lines and bubble top.  They were like a breath of fresh air.  Something new. something exciting.  These cars would even roll!  I don't have the original Hot Wheels redline silhouette anymore but these 1994 vintage series clones will do just nicely.
