The first time this 57 Thunderbird was cast was back in 1978. At that time it was part of the Flying Colors series as is this current model from 2013. As you can see the main difference in the two castings is the lack of the porthole in the new version. I'm glad Mattel kept the blackwalls on this vehicle to give it that classic look.
